Andy Rankin

Andy is currently General Partner at Cypress Venture Capital, a new Southern California-based venture capital fund launching late ’14 with Partners Jon Funk and Brad Jones. Andy has been an active investor and partner to early stage / growth companies since graduating from Dartmouth. He also understands first hand the drivers to build large scale technology-enabled retail for large retailers.

As Co-Founder of Exit13 Strategics he led an eCommerce consultancy focused on bringing best practices and cutting edge solutions to Fortune 500 retailers such as Dillards.

And as an angel Investor Andy is focused on eCommerce, online marketing, digital media, mobile, and gaming making investments such as: GraphEffect (Shift.com), ContextLogic (Wish.com), Addepar, Hark, Index (GoIndex.com), Cirro, TurningArt, RetentionScience, YieldMetrics, SocialWeekend (Sold to Adknowledge), Vurb, ProsperWorks, SRCH2, Sudonow, Markkit, Sapho, Light, and a couple others. Andy started his career at Redpoint Ventures and Wachovia Corp.
